Flex takes US Black Mayors to meet the Queen of Buganda at Bulange, Kampala, Uganda.
Flex was head of the Organizing committee for the recently launched Serene Suites hotel in Mutundwe Uganda. (http://www.serenesuites.com)
I had the pleasure of being Flex’s secretary at one of his offices in Macon, Ga. He’s inspired me by setting an example to be strong and positive. He encounters A LOT of resposibilities. All of these are handled while maintaining a peaceful appearance and surrounding for his employees. I want to thank him for this and will never forget what unique individual he is. Greetings from the heart of the Mississippi Delta. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Flex over the past few months and he has proven to me that he is a man of his words. He is a man of great inspiration, a heart of gold, and a personality that is priceless. I want to take this opportunity to thank him for taking a country girl like myself under his wings and encouraging me to reach for the stars,to work hard,to set goals and never take “no” for an answer and fight for what you want and believe in. As the first black woman News Director in the state of Mississippi, i appauld you for what you are doing in the US and how you are trying to empower and improve the way of life back in Uganda. Flex, thanks for your prayers and friendship.
As The former mayor of Macon,Ga i have had the pleasure of working with Flex on numerous community and international programs. He always brought passion and ability to every endeavor. His demostated leadership ability more than qualifies him to lead UNAA to new hights. I highly endorse Mr Flex Kabule for president of UNAA. Mayor C.Jack Ellis, Macon,Ga
Mr. Kabuye Flex, I want to thank you for everything you are doing for us as Ugandans in the diaspora as well as back home. I have been able to watch the video about what you have done, heard people talk about you and praise you for the good you have done for them or their relatives. I had a chance to meet you and talk about the future for UNAA. I know and I believe you are the right candidate for UNAA President 2009-2011. You have my vote and support and I will campaign for you openly in Chicago.
Flex you deserve everybody’s vote. You have saved lives here in the US home.
your generousty deserves a reward.your video explains everything.
We will vote for you.
Without a doubt Flex you deserve everyones vote not because you have campaigned so well but just because your truck record speaks for itself.
I wiil never forget the generousty you have been showing us through out the UNNA convetions by not leaving the venues not untill all Ugandans have left. To all those who were in NEW YORK could witness this that without you,the convetion almost floped.
Thanks Flex you have our votes AND I believe everybody has a different testimony to make.
You deserve a landslide victory and I know you gonna get it.

Just before Kalisizo township in Rakai district, stands a huge billboard announcing, “Nabbunga Fountain Primary School welcomes you”. An arrow points to the complex that started in 1999 as an orphanage.
But owing to its close ties to schools in the USA, it has grown into the school it is today. They even have an exchange programme where its students visit the USA every January.
The exchange programme is coordinated by Flex Kabuye who is the president of the Atlanta chapter of the Uganda North American Association (UNAA) and also brother to the director of Nabbunga Fountain, Brother Elly Kayanja.
It is Kabuye who has consistently lobbied for support for the school from Americans. The school has over 871 pupils, is one of the best in the district and boasts of an impressive brass band.
While handing over calculators and a projector recently to Nabbunga that were a donation by the American School of Heritage Elementary from Georgia, Ms Michelle Horlacher, the leader of the delegation of 5 teachers from USA hailed Kabuye’s initiative.
She said, “We pledged to contribute US $250,000 towards his efforts together with other friends to the school bus, which we hope will be bought in a few months.”
Her remarks attracted rounds of applause from the thrilled pupils and teachers. The school also recently launched a website that the headmaster, Mr. Semutono Stephen, said would strengthen the pupil’s communication with their American friends.
